Mandarin

Mandarin, also known as mandarin orange or tangerine, is a citrus fruit that is widely cultivated and consumed around the world. The Mandarin Orange looks similar to the common Orange in shape however it is smaller in size and has a thin peel that differentiates it from its counterpart. Mandarin is believed to have originated in Southeast Asia and was introduced to Europe in the early 19th century. Today, it is primarily grown in China, Spain, and the United States.  In Ayurvedic medicine, mandarin is used to treat a variety of conditions, including digestive problems, respiratory infections, and skin disorders. It is believed to have a cooling effect on the body.
