Peppermint

Peppermint is an herb that belongs to the mint family. Peppermint is native to Europe and Asia, but it is now grown all over the world. It is a hybrid plant, a cross between watermint and spearmint.  Traditionally, Peppermint oil has been to soothe and heal acne, pimples. Peppermint oil also helps in promoting hair growth by stimulating hair follicles and increasing blood circulation. It has a strong aroma, which is used to treat lice and excessive dry scalp. One of the active ingredients, Menthol helps in providing pain relief through central and peripheral nervous system effects.
