Beet Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 beets, peeled
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin powder
  • ¼ teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to season
Methods
  1. In a small saucepan, boil the washed beets until tender. You can peel the beets after boiling.
  2. When cooled grate or cut into julienne strips.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the shredded beet with sugar, cumin, coriander powder and
    lime juice.
  4. Season with salt and pepper
