Kripa Grilled Chilli Cheese

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of your favorite bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough work well)
  • 2 tablespoons Kripa Crispy Chili oil (adjust to your preferred level of spiciness)
  • 4 slices of your preferred cheese (Cheddar, Swiss, or Pepper Jack are great choices)
  • Butter or margarine for spreading
  • Optional add-ins: sliced tomatoes, spinach, or thinly sliced red onions for extra flavor
Methods
    1.  Preheat the Grill or Pan: If you’re using a stovetop pan, preheat it over medium-low heat. If you have a sandwich press or electric grill, preheat it to a medium-high setting.
    2. Spread Butter: Take two slices of bread and spread a thin layer of butter or margarine on one side of each slice. This will create a golden, crispy exterior for your grilled cheese.
    3. Add Kripa Crispy Chili: On the other side of each buttered slice, spread a generous amount, along with drizzle of the oil. You can adjust the quantity depending on how spicy you want your grilled cheese to be.
    4. Layer the Cheese: Place a good amount of cheese on top of the chili oil side of each slice of bread. If you like it extra cheesy, you can add more than one slice.
    5. Optional Add-Ins: If you want to enhance the flavor, add your optional ingredients now. For example, you can add a couple of slices of tomato, a few spinach leaves, or some thinly sliced red onions on top of the cheese.
    6. Assemble the Sandwiches: Place the two slices of bread with chili oil and cheese (plus any optional ingredients) together, creating a sandwich with the buttered sides facing out.
    7. Grill the Sandwiches: If you’re using a stovetop pan, place the sandwiches in the pan. Cook them for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and the cheese has melted. If you’re using a sandwich press or electric grill, place the sandwiches on the grill and close the lid. Grill for about 3-4 minutes or until they are golden and the cheese is melted.
    8. Serve Hot: Once your grilled cheese sandwiches are ready, remove them from the grill or pan and let them cool for a minute or two. Then, slice them in half diagonally and serve immediately while they’re still hot and gooey. Enjoy your Grilled Cheese Toast with Chili Oil for a delightful blend of cheesy goodness and a spicy kick!
